At just 7 months old, Damon is already showing us what a fun, loving little guy he can be! This handsome Terrier mix came to us because of financial hardship, through no fault of his own. Damon is friendly, affectionate, playful, energetic, and a little protective of the people he loves. One of our favorite things about him is his adorable play bow—he’ll bow right down and invite you to join in the fun! He loves a good game of chase and fetch, and when it’s time to entertain himself, give him a good, hard toy to chew on and he’s a happy boy. His favorite things are attention and treats, and when Damon is feeling upset, a little extra attention from his people is what comforts him most. And here’s some great news for his future family: Damon is house trained and sleeps in a crate! He has also lived with both dogs and cats. He has not yet lived with children, so introductions with kids would need to be handled thoughtfully. Damon is still just a puppy, which means he has plenty of energy, plenty of learning left to do, and so much love to give. He’s looking for someone who will enjoy his playful spirit, give him plenty of attention, and help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he’s meant to be.
