Carly is a 2-year-old Beagle mix with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. Affectionate, shy, and incredibly loving, Carly is happiest when she’s close to the people she trusts. Whether she’s snuggled tightly beside you on the couch, riding along on a quiet car trip, or enjoying one of her favorite walks, Carly’s love shines through in the sweetest ways. Her previous family shared that when they first brought Carly home, she was nervous and scared, but once she felt safe, she became deeply devoted and full of love. She’s comforted by attention and simply wants to be near her person. Carly is crate trained and finds peace and security in her black wire crate, especially during thunderstorms, often choosing to curl up there on her own for comfort. Carly also loves running around the yard and was a star at learning the invisible fence. Food, cozy naps, walks, and quiet time with her favorite person make her happiest. Because Carly is sensitive and protective of the people she loves, she would do best in a calm, quiet home without a lot of visitors or small children. Strangers can be overwhelming for her, and while she enjoys outings and adventures, she prefers not to be approached or petted by people she doesn’t know. Carly feels things deeply and can get her feelings hurt easily, so she needs a patient adopter who understands shy dogs and will give her the time and reassurance she deserves. Underneath her timid nature is a dog who loves with her whole heart. Carly isn’t looking for a perfect home — she’s looking for a safe one, where she can finally relax, feel understood, and spend her days close to the person she loves most.
Clyde is a sweet Dachshund mix with a gentle, submissive personality and a heart full of love. Shelter life has been scary for him, and he’s still learning that he’s safe, but he truly shines during cuddle time. Clyde loves kids, enjoys tough chew toys, and is crate trained too! He has lived with other dogs before, though he was a little too playful and rough for the tiny resident Yorkies in his last home. Clyde is looking for a patient family who will help him feel secure and give him all the love and snuggles he’s been missing.
Bonnie is a lovable Dachshund mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddle time. Shelter life has been scary and overwhelming for this sweet girl, but once she feels safe, her gentle and affectionate personality shines through. Bonnie loves kids, enjoys tough chew toys, and is crate trained too! She has lived with other dogs before, though she was a little too playful and rough for the tiny resident Yorkies in her previous home. Bonnie would thrive with a family ready to give her patience, love, and a cozy place to finally relax and feel secure.
