Matthew is ready to trade in colony life for something he’s never truly had—a home of his own. This sweet boy was once part of a large colony of over 20 cats, but after being trapped and neutered, it became clear that Matthew is more than just an outdoor survivor—he’s a gentle soul who truly enjoys the company of people. Matthew can be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his affectionate side shine. He absolutely loves head scratches and will happily rub against your legs to say hello and ask for attention. It’s his quiet way of showing just how much he wants to connect. He isn’t a fan of being picked up, and that’s okay—Matthew prefers affection on his own terms. What he really wants is a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe, build trust, and simply be near his people. After spending so much of his life outdoors, Matthew deserves the comfort, stability, and love of a permanent home.
